High School Leadership Institute: Youth Service Summit Lessons

The Service in Schools (SIS) Virtual Leadership Institute is an exciting opportunity for NYC public high school students in grades 10-12 to build their leadership skills over the course of a five-day Institute during spring break and in after-school virtual sessions throughout the spring. During these sessions, students worked in small groups to learn about and develop virtual lessons on animal welfare, disability rights, fast fashion, and housing and homelessness. Participating high school student leaders facilitated these lessons for students in grades 3-5 at the Virtual Youth Service Summit. You can view the student leaders' lesson slide decks below.
