Resources

1.   Here is the template your students will use to create their final exhibit. Please only use Google Slides to build out your exhibit and include the non-negotiable slides I mentioned. When you click on the link, you will be asked to make a copy of the template- please save the deck wherever you and your students save your History by Design work. Here is the list of required slides again:

  • Title slide
  • Artist statement slide
  • Background information slide
  • [Between the background information slide and the thank you slide is your freestyle space! You can add whatever you’d like here… art, videos, maps, timelines etc.]
  • Thank you slide

2.   Here is the example deck I put together on women’s suffrage. Feel free to share this with your students as a model.

3.   Here is the deck we made together! Also, feel free to share with your students.

4.   Here is the Google form that Gabriella created to organize the exhibit-making process. She asked for one students to act as the “project manager” to record the group’s answers. She split her Crew into two groups: one will focus on gathering background information and one will make the art.

5.   Here is my PC 2 deck.
