Become a scientist and an artist in AquariArt! Each day, we will use a different medium inspired by the ocean to create nature-based works of art, from seaweed pressings to sand sculptures. Join us as we explore the Coney Island beach, meet our animal ambassadors, and discover new ways to make art.

Junior Guardians of the Garden

Our city is overflowing with curious natural wonders for you to explore at Queens Botanical Garden! Join our Guardians of the Garden camp and become one of nature’s superheroes. Investigate what's blooming and buzzing this season and enjoy art projects and games, all inspired by our collections and landscapes.

Wild Adaptations

Location: Queens Zoo in Corona, Queens

Let's explore what it takes to survive out in the wild! Just like us, animals need shelter, food, and water to survive. Every animal plays an important role in the web of life! We will hide like prey, hunt like predators, search for special adaptations of animals in the zoo and so much more this week!

Dr. Zoo's Health Center

Calling all young veterinarians, Dr. Zoo needs your help! Come meet Dr. Zoo and learn from our knowledgeable camp staff about how zoos keep their animals healthy during this fun week. Your camper will visit exhibits, meet animals up-close, and engage in activities that demonstrate how our veterinarians examine, diagnose, and treat our animal patients!

Snug Harbor Scientists

Location: Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden in Randall Manor, Staten Island

Dates: Monday, August 10-Friday, August 14, 2020

Interested in exploring new environments? Want to learn how organisms survive and thrive and discover what life sciences can teach us? Join Snug Harbor for educational games, singing and dancing, read alouds, immersive exploration, and art play. Campers will learn what needs we all have in common and the importance of diversity. By the end of the week, campers will have explored life in multiple biomes, including a farm, wetlands, a meadow, and a forest.
