Explore the 1-week camps for students entering kindergarten in September. All camps take place Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm each day.

Animal Olympics

Location: Staten Island Zoo in West Brighton, Staten Island

Dates: Monday, August 1 - Friday, August 5, 2022

Join us as we host our own Olympics, right here at the Zoo! This exciting week will be filled with animal competitions as well as human ones, and activities to learn more about awesome athletic abilities of animals! Which animal would win the high jump? The long jump? The marathon? The 100 meter dash? Find out how you would match up against the animals and each other. Meet the Zoo’s program animals, visit exhibits, explore biofacts, and participate in fun, hands-on classroom activities, while exploring amazing animal adaptations.

Zoo Detectives

Location: Bronx Zoo in Bronx Park, Bronx

Dates: Monday, July 25 - Friday, July 29, 2022

Detective I. Spye has a “wild” mystery for your campers this week! J.D Salamander, a very important scientist, was doing research out in the forest when he happened upon a very mysterious scene. Now with the help of your camper, Detective I. Spye is on the case. Campers will visit exhibits, meet animals, and learn new skills to help solve a piece of the puzzle each day!

Shark Week

Location: NY Aquarium in Coney Island, Brooklyn

Dates: Monday, August 8 - Friday, August 12, 2022

Sharks might seem scary on the surface but these fabulous fish are important for healthy ocean ecosystems. Join us as we dive deep into learning about shark anatomy, behavior, care, habitats, and research. We’ll meet Aquarium shark keepers and go behind the scenes of New York Aquarium shark exhibits!
